The Bird on a Wire Quilt was featured on the cover of Quiltmania Magazine and is one of our most popular patterns! Designed as a wall hanging, this sweet quilt measures 36" x 37" but can easily be enlarged into a bigger quilt.
The mini quilts hanging on the lines are cut and ready to piece. Appliqué fabrics are included, along with the base fabric, binding, and Chenille-It embellishment strips. The Chenille-It adds a charming vintage look and texture to your finished quilt.
Two Kit Options Available:
Classic Kit – Includes all fabrics as detailed above, plus templates to cut out the birds and clothespins yourself.
Deluxe Kit – Includes everything in the Classic Kit plus pre-cut, laser-cut birds and clothespins so they’re perfectly shaped and ready to appliqué.
About the Fabrics: Each kit features a curated mix of fabrics pulled from rare and hard-to-find collections. Fabrics will not be identical to those shown in the original cover quilt but have been carefully chosen to capture the same charm and feel.
Batting and backing not included.
