The Bird on a Wire Quilt was featured on the cover of Quiltmania Magazine and is one of our most popular patterns! Designed as a wall hanging, this sweet quilt measures 36" x 37" but can easily be enlarged into a bigger quilt.
The mini quilts hanging on the lines are cut and ready to piece. Appliqué fabrics are included, along with the base fabric, binding, and Chenille-It embellishment strips. The Chenille-It adds a charming vintage look and texture to your finished quilt.
Two Kit Options Available:
Classic Kit – Includes all fabrics as detailed above, plus templates to cut out the birds and clothespins yourself.
Deluxe Kit – Includes everything in the Classic Kit plus pre-cut, laser-cut birds and clothespins so they’re perfectly shaped and ready to appliqué.
Each kit features a curated mix of fabrics pulled from rare and hard-to-find collections. Fabrics will not be identical to those shown in the original cover quilt but have been carefully chosen to capture the same charm and feel.
